1. Summer Reading Kickoff Party - Auburn Hills
Sign up for the reading challenge and join us for a dino‑sized celebration at the Seyburn Pavilion! We’ll have bubbles, PIZZA, vibrant face painting to help you become your favorite prehistoric creature, and a towering rock wall (wear closed-toed shoes) for brave climbers ready to scale their own “volcano.”
2. Summer Reading Kickoff Party - Orion Township
We’re thrilled to once again kick off our Summer Reading Program with a special celebration. This year’s event is extra exciting as we honor the library’s 100th anniversary with a festive, birthday party–themed gathering. Guests of all ages can enjoy a fun-filled afternoon featuring bounce houses, yummy treats, live entertainers, crafts, and a variety of engaging activities. Join us on Saturday, June 13, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a memorable community celebration you won’t want to miss!
3. Michigan Taco Fest
The taco lover’s ULTIMATE festival is BACK for 2026! 3 days of the best taco trucks in Michigan, multiple stages of entertainment, activities including live music and wrestling, margaritas and cervezas, and more! FRIDAY, JUNE 12 through SUNDAY, JUNE 14, it’s the ORIGINAL Michigan Taco Fest – only in Canterbury Village! Live Bands ~ Live Wrestling ~ Lawn Games ~ Vendors ~ DJs ~ Monster Truck Rides ~ Petting Zoo ~ Eating Contests ~ Endless Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Nachos, Tamales, and More!
4. Bugs on Wheels!
Bugs on Wheels is back at The Village of Rochester Hills! Join Nadia, The Bug Lady, this summer when she brings her bugs to Festival Park. This will be an exhibit-style event so join us any time during the hour to meet some bugs! Nadia will answer questions and introduce you to tarantulas, or beetles, or centipedes, or maybe a leaf bug! This is a FREE event.
5. Adventure Days: Magical Meadow Brook
Join us as Meadow Brook transforms into a one-day school of magic! Learn about mythical creatures, go on a Scavenger Hunt Quest and create your own House Crest in this magical adventure experience. Participants will make art projects, play in the House Games, imagine their own wizarding names and powers and enjoy all the magic of summertime at Meadow Brook.
