1. Wet & Wild Wednesdays
Every Wednesday in July, the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm transforms into the splashiest spot in Oakland County! Live music kicks things off at 12pm, and the water fun begins at 1pm — think two giant slip and slides, a real Rochester Hills fire truck, a foam machine for the littles, wading in Stoney Creek, and hands-on water activities from the Clinton River Watershed Council. The Rochester Hills Public Library Bookmobile will be rolling in too, and the City of Rochester Hills Outdoor Engagement team will be on hand to introduce your crew to Michigan's amazing animals and plants. Tickets are $6 per person at the door (required for everyone ages 2–99). Pro tip: pack a swimsuit, a towel, and a change of clothes — soggy car seats are no fun!
2. Bugs on Wheels
Calling all curious critters! This Thursday at 10am, Nadia "The Bug Lady" is bringing her creepy-crawly crew to Festival Park at The Village of Rochester Hills. This exhibit-style event means you can drop in any time during the hour to come face-to-face with tarantulas, beetles, centipedes — maybe even a leaf bug! Nadia loves answering questions, so bring your budding entomologists and all their "but WHY does it have so many legs?!" curiosity. Best of all? This event is totally FREE.
3. Oxford's Summer Concert Series
This year's concert series is one for the history books — literally! With America celebrating its 250th birthday and Oxford marking its 150th, the "Oxford Through the Decades" theme promises a groovy summer of music at Centennial Park. Head over Thursday from 6:30–8:00pm, spread out a blanket, and let the kids dance the evening away. Bring your dancing shoes — this one's a whole-family toe-tapper!
4. Summer Concerts in the Village
The music keeps playing all weekend long! Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and head to Festival Park for free live concerts Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the summer. From rock n' roll to country to contemporary hits, there's something to get every member of the family up and moving.

5. Once Upon a Farm Storytime & Animal Fun
Cap off your week with a truly magical morning at Stibich Farm on Sunday, July 12th! From 9:30–11:30 AM, the farm opens its gates for a cozy, come-and-go Open Story Time — arrive and leave whenever works for your family's schedule. Live story readings happen at 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00 AM, and between stories there's SO much to explore: friendly farm animals to pet, yard games to play, and carrot cups for feeding the goats. Grown-ups, you're covered too — the Bloom and Bean coffee trailer will be serving up delicious drinks, and you can browse fresh goods at the Stibich Farm Stand plus a special Tree Swing Kids pop-up.
