At Camp Ohiyesa, youth gain confidence, explore the outdoors, and develop healthy habits while discovering an appreciation for nature—all under the careful guidance of our caring, responsible staff. Balancing cherished traditions with adventurous experiences, we empower kids to embrace challenges, explore their interests, and become the best version of themselves. Camp Ohiyesa encompasses 300 rolling acres of forest, fields, lakefront, and wetlands, as well as cabins, climbing towers, low ropes courses, fishing, boating, a swimming area with a giant water slide, ball fields, a horse ranch and numerous other memory-making, character-building amenities and was recently recognized as a top camp in America in Newsweek Magazine.

YMCA Camp Ohiyesa provides kids with a safe, familiar, and fun-filled environment. No matter their age, interests, or abilities, we can help all children learn, grow, and thrive safely. Our Day Camp and Overnight Camp programs offer more than just fun. Our camps are be transformational for campers providing positive, character-building experiences, hands-on education, and environmental awareness. Campers develop independence and self-esteem while having fun and learning teambuilding and social skills under the careful guidance of responsible role models. We focus on creating a safe environment with opportunities for youth to grow. For over 100 years, Camp Ohiyesa has been a place where campers gain independence, build friend-making skills, challenge themselves, explore the natural world, and create lifelong habits of healthy living under the careful guidance of responsible role models. We have a strong emphasis on character-building and incorporate our core values (honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, inclusion) into each activity. Lunch and snack are included daily and transportation is available from Birmingham, White Lake, Milford, Novi, Whitmore Lake, and Brighton.
